Jigsaw

Taken just north of Astor Place while walking downtown from Union Square to Nolita. I'm working on trying to take a few more shots of the local neighborhood than I have been recently; the tough thing is that I really find mid-winter light in Manhattan often just miserable - either it's cold, moderate-angle mid-day light, or it's good light but at such a low angle that it leaves everything at street level in shadows.
