The new LED lighting was in full effect with this weekend's great red-pink-white Valentine's Day lighting on the Empire State Building. Crystal-clear winter weather didn't hurt either.

Ever since I have started architecture school I have become intrigued by the ESB. Not just the building itself but the lighting at the peaks. For the past 2 years I have been making it a task to go up the ESB on valentines day with my girlfriend since her favorite color is pink and this (along with the Chrysler tower) is my favorite building. Living within 20 min. from it I try and follow the lights day by day and this along with yellow (which was yesterday) are my favorite colors for the ESB. This is a gorgeous picture! Thank you!
