South Hana Highway

The South Hana Highway and Pilani Highway wind their way across the barren and largely uninhabited southern coast of Maui. Taken from right here, this photo is of the highway crossing the gulch formed by the Honoloewa Stream. Much of the road is unpaved but passable; not recommended in heavy rain or if you're unsure of your driving on gravel roads.
